Coach Shwetha Mangal

Shwetha is a Certified Personal Trainer who loves helping women become their most confident selves. She’s experienced with coaching clients who eat South Asian diets, and helped dozens of women transform their bodies, for good. She grew up in Hyderabad, India and currently lives in Minnesota with her husband and two teens. When she’s not lifting weights, she loves reading and hiking!

FAQs
How is this different from regular BBR Coaching? 
This is a group program which comes with less support than our other coaching programs.

You’ll be part of a community and be able to ask questions to your coach on the live Q&A calls, and in the Facebook group. It is great for those who can implement a plan and don’t need a lot of 1:1 accountability. It does NOT come with 1:1 access to your coach. 

If you need a higher level of support and accountability, our regular coaching options are is a better fit. 

You will get a weekly 1:1 check in with your coach, and have text / voice access to your coach in between sessions for even more support! We will dive deeper into your mindset, habits, and behaviors and you’ll receive 1:1 attention weekly.

Is there a minimum time commitment?  
Nope! This is a flexible membership program and there is no minimum time you have to sign up for.
Can I eat my fave Indian / Mexican / Thai / Chinese food during this?
Yes! The goal of this is to be sustainable, and if you can’t eat your favorite foods - It’s not sustainable! We will teach you how to eat all foods while reaching your goals.  
Do I get a meal plan?
Nope! We don't do restrictive meal plans (most reputable coaches don't) because they're simply not sustainable. What happens when you go out to eat? Or when life throws you a curveball? 

We teach you the basics of flexible eating in a calorie deficit so that you lose weight without feeling restricted, and are educated and empowered to make the best decisions in whatever situation you're in.  

We'll also provide a few example days of eating and provide guidance and support to help you build healthy, balanced meals in the correct portions for your goals. 
How long will it take to see results? 
We have noticed from 1:1 coaching that most clients need at least 4-12 months of consistency to reach their goals, depending on how much weight they wish to lose. Your rate of progress also depends on how consistent you are, so focus your energy on crushing your habits! 
Will the Q&A calls be recorded if I can’t make them live?
Yes! They will be recorded and emailed out to everyone in the program. You can also submit questions in advance that we can answer if you’re not there. 
What are the workouts like? Can I workout at home? 
We have beginner, intermediate, and advanced workouts to choose from based on your level. You can choose from bodyweight only, dumbbell only, or full gym workouts. The workouts focus on strength training and lifting weights to get stronger and leaner overall. 

You will have access to our BBR Workout app which contains video demos for EACH move so you know exactly how to do them properly. And if you need any form help, we are here to support you: You can share a video in the private community and we will respond and share any tips or feedback! 

Please note, workout plans are NOT personalized in this program. (Only macros are personalized). If you would like personalized workouts due to specific goals, injuries, or chronic pain, please apply for 1:1 coaching here
Do you help with workout form?  
Yes! We definitely want to make sure you're lifting safely. You can share a video at any point in our private group and we will respond with any form tips within 24 business hours. You can also ask form questions during the weekly Q&A calls
What if I need to get my macros adjusted? 
Easy! If you think you need a program adjustment, just fill out our macro adjustment form with your data from the last 3 weeks. We will review it and email you a response within 48 business hours. 
What if I am pregnant or breastfeeding? 
You can still join FWC: We offer pregnancy-safe workouts for the first, second, and third trimester. We also have postpartum workouts that focus on rehab and safe return to exercise. We will ensure your nutrition level is set up for success based on whichever stage you're at. 

Please note: If you are currently pregnant, we do not help you with weight loss as this is not usually safe for the baby. We will focus on general health and ensuring you're eating enough. 
What if I have PCOS, Hypothyroidism, or another medical condition? 
You are welcome to join. We have a whole PCOS section in our online course and many women in our community with PCOS and / or hypothyroid. It is extremely helpful to have a personalized approach for both of these conditions. 

At the same time, please remember that this is a GROUP program. You know yourself best: If you feel you need a higher level of 1:1 support and weekly checkins to be successful with your health condition, we encourage you to apply for our 1:1 coaching program instead as it will give you more hands-on coaching and monitoring from a coach.
